"Where Families Pray and Worship Together - To Stay Together"

Men's Ministry

Our slogan is based on the need for men to help make all men become Godly men. So we will accomplish this through our belief that we are “Men Helping Men to Become Men!”

The mission of the New Covenant Family Church Abraham 318 Men's Ministry is to provide men with the resources to develop Godly character, to walk in holiness before our God and help equip men to influence other men for Christ our Lord.

Our Purpose is to define authentic and Godly manhood. In our society, being a man is confusing. There are a number of definitions according to the world's standards, but as members of Abraham’s 318, we will look at the Biblical call to be a real man as one who rejects passivity, accepts responsibility, leads courageously and invests in eternity.

Therefore, the purpose of the Abraham’s 318 Men's Ministry at New Covenant Family Church is expressed in Colossians 1:28 KJV

"That we may present every man complete in Christ."

What does it mean to be "complete in Christ" as a man?

To be complete in Christ means that we are happy in being a real man! We provide for our families, fight for righteousness sake, have close male friends that encourage us and are faithful to our wife (or keeping ourselves sexually pure before marriage).

In Proverbs 27:17 we are told, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Strong men build up other strong men.

Small groups of men are regularly being established. Their primary purpose is to help men grow in their relationship with God and build deep friendships with other godly men. A natural result of this is spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. Also, a small group setting facilitates solid and deeper friendships with other men. Contact us for more information.

The Abraham 318 Men's Ministry of New Covenant Family Church has, will continue in the future years, to participate in large men's gatherings involving the The Past is The Past Conference our fall men's retreats, seminars and worship gathering. Paul tells us in Philippians 3:13-14 KJV

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Simply put, God is calling for devout men to stand-up, and forget about the wrongs of the past. He wants us to look towards the future and put our entire focus on Him and the call that He’s put on our lives, will make us fishers of other men.

The men of New Covenant Family Church have many activities designed for fun and friendship such as softball, basketball, dominoes, barbecues, camping trips and fishing expeditions. It’s OK to have fun! Try it! These are just a few of the many activities to check out.
